This scheme of work has been designed so that you can literally pick it up and use it with no additional planning required.

This SoW covers:

• What is pseudocode?
• Why pseudocode is used
• How to write pseudocode
• How to use indents
• Using IF ...THEN ...ELSE conditions
• Using mathematical operators in pseudocode
• Using variables in pseudocode
• Using WHILE loops
• Using FOR loops

This scheme of work can be run as a standalone project with no prior student knowledge. However, it would also work particularly well directly after completing the SoW on flowcharts (and prior to that computational thinking.)
